Glass veranda in Royal Leamington Spa
7.5 × 2.4 m

The brief

Behind a house in Royal Leamington Spa sits a self-contained garden lodge that the owners let out to guests. The owners wanted the terrace to be just as inviting on a rainy day as in the sunshine – a covered outdoor space that would make the lodge look as good as it felt.

What we built

A 7.5 × 2.4 m glass veranda in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) with a toughened glass roof. The frame is powder-coated aluminium, the roof is fully glazed, and the sides are left open so the terrace keeps its light, airy feel. At 2.97 m high at the wall, it sits comfortably above the lodge’s doors and windows.

Installation

After a visit to measure and agree the details, the veranda was made to size and fitted by our own team – all within four weeks of the order.

The result

Guests now use the terrace whatever the weather, the lodge has a noticeably more premium look from the garden, and the glass roof makes the whole outdoor area feel larger. For a holiday let, a glass veranda is one of the simplest ways to add usable space and kerb appeal at the same time.
