1. A Garden Room That Grew with the Vision

When our client in Morton first contacted us, they were looking for a sleek canopy to cover their patio. The goal was to create a sheltered area that would protect from rain and wind while still feeling open to the garden.

We began with a robust aluminium canopy in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016), fitted with a permanent glass wall on the left-hand side. It served them well — but after a while, they realised they wanted more. The space was already a hub for relaxing and hosting, but what if it could offer even more comfort and flexibility?

That’s when they decided to transform the structure into a partially enclosed glass garden room — by adding a frameless sliding front wall while keeping the right side open for airflo

2. A Smart, Bespoke Garden Room Solution

This project showcases how modular design can adapt over time. The original canopy acted as the foundation for what eventually became a stunning glass room in the garden.

Our team returned to install the sliding glass wall at the front, turning the space into a modern glass garden room that offers both protection and openness. The frameless system allows the front wall to slide fully open during warmer months, while the fixed side panel blocks wind year-round. We also fitted subtle LED lighting into the structure, creating a welcoming atmosphere from morning through to evening.

4. From One Garden to Many

The results spoke for themselves — quite literally. After seeing the transformation, two of the client’s neighbours decided to commission their own installations: one opted for a glass veranda, and the other went ahead with their own glass garden room.

It’s always rewarding to see our work inspiring others, and Morton quickly became a showcase for how these custom outdoor structures can redefine garden living.

5. Glass Garden Room Prices – What to Expect

For a structure of this size (8.8m x 3.6m), built in two phases, the cost was as follows:

  • Roof + Fixed Side Wall: approx. £14,400

  • Sliding Frameless Glass Front Wall (added later): approx. £5,200

That brings the total to around £19,600. As with all glass garden rooms prices, the final amount depends on size, design features, and materials chosen — but the value added to both the home and lifestyle is long-lasting.
